Inspired by the delicate fronds of a unfurling fern leaf, the Fern Lounge Chair by Sebastian Herkner is an imposing, yet cosy lounge chair with a design language that harks back to nature. Combining Gloster’s signature plantation teak with a soft finish outdoor rope, the enveloping, woven back rest of the new Fern collection both protects and provides the comfort to the occupant. Attached to a typically Scandinavian style teak frame, which mirrors the contours of the back rest and underlines the comfort aspects, two different heights of the back give the Fern collection two distinct characters – a sumptuous, low back lounge chair and a more intimate and protective high back wing chair.
