Delivery dates are good faith estimates only and are quoted in “business days”.  This does not include weekends and statutory holidays. We do not keep inventory on all items. If your order is in stock, we will ship it within 1-3 business days. With the exception of showroom stock, all items have specific manufacturer lead times that can range anywhere from 1-8 weeks. Lead times are estimates only. Manufacturers may indicate longer than stated lead times after orders are placed, subject to demand and availability. This rarely happens but in the event that it does, you will be informed and you will be given a revised estimated time of delivery.

PO Box addresses are not acceptable for delivery.

How Will My Order Ship?

We’ve carefully selected the shipping options for each product on our site to ensure you receive the fastest, safest, and most reliable delivery service possible. Each item’s delivery options will be noted on its product page, as well as in the shopping cart.

In Store Pick Up

Pick-ups will be from the Ginger Jar Furniture showroom (1420 Fell Avenue, North Vancouver). All pick-ups require an appointment to be made in advance so that we can have your piece(s) prepared and ensure there is somebody there to assist you.

Small Parcel Delivery Method

Deliveries will be completed by UPS Standard Ground Shipping.

Large Parcel Delivery Method

Standard Delivery (Curbside)

For our Home Delivery-Curbside option (at this time only available in the Lower Mainland and Sea to Sky Corridor only), a skilled delivery team will remove your items form the truck and place them safely and responsibly on the curbside, ensuring that all involved respect social distancing protocols. It is the customer’s responsibility to move the product for the curbside into their home.
Appointment Scheduling: The delivery partner will call you to arrange a date and 4-hour delivery window once your item(s) arrive at our warehouse.
Packaging Removal Included: No
Assembly Service Included: No

Our Standard Shipping is based on the most economical shipping option; therefore, shipping times may vary. Shortly after you have placed your order we will be able to provide you with a general ETA.

White Glove Delivery

For our White Glove Delivery option (at this time only available in the Lower Mainland and Sea to Sky Corridor only), a skilled two-person delivery team will bring your items to your room of choice and remove any debris or packaging.
Appointment Scheduling: The delivery partner will call you to arrange a date and 4-hour delivery window once your item(s) arrive at our warehouse.
Packaging Removal Included: Yes. Item(s) unpacked and packaging debris removed from premises.
Assembly Service Included: Yes. Items either pre-assembled or light assembly for items included.

**Shipping to the Rest of BC/Canada/International

We are happy to ship to you wherever you are in BC, Canada and Internationally (if possible). Please contact customerservice@gingerjarfurnture.com for a quote. We are also happy to coordinate, in the case where you would like to arrange a pick-up with a third-party delivery company.

***Remote Delivery Area Surcharge

We will make every effort to fulfill your order based on our standard shipping policy; however, an additional surcharge is often required for delivery to remote locations outside of major centers. This is due to a Delivery Area Surcharge applied by some shipping companies. We will always contact you, prior to applying this shipping surcharge and prior to charging your credit card.
