We love our community and we’ve been at it for 30 years!
That is why we’ve decided to donate $12,000 to the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation and its campaign to raise $100 million of the $200 million needed to build a new Surgical & Medical Centre and revolutionize health care on the North Shore. Preparation work is already underway for this new high-tech facility that will replace an aging acute care tower that is more than 50 years old.
Over the past thirty years, we’ve sponsored events, donated furniture and hosted in-store fundraisers. “This is the hospital we will all need sooner or later” says owner Clarinda Kung. Clarinda is a member of the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation’s Asian Advisory Committee, who will be hosting the 4th Annual LGH Community Cares Gala on Saturday, April 6th.
This elegant evening will bring together 250 business and community leaders to raise funds for the new high-tech Medical & Surgical Centre at LGH. Guests will enjoy a signature seafood buffet, live entertainment and silent and live auctions.
